Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Kansov Labs Private Limited when you use the Kansov platform.

The short version: You own your data. Use the platform responsibly. AI outputs are tools to assist your work, not replacements for your judgment.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Kansov, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. The Service

Kansov is an AI-native product management platform providing tools for signal capture, AI-powered thinking, roadmapping, feature management, and PM productivity. The Service is designed for professional B2B use.

3. Accounts and Workspaces

  • You must be 18 or older to create an account
  • You are responsible for all activity within your workspace
  • Account credentials must not be shared with others outside your workspace
  • Email verification is required to access the product
  • A 30-day free trial is available to new workspaces. No credit card required to start

4. Your Data and Content

You retain all ownership rights to the data and content you create in Kansov ("Your Content"). You grant Kansov a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely as needed to provide the Service. We do not sell, license, or share Your Content with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service.

5. AI Features

Kansov's AI features use a BYOK model — you provide your own AI provider API key. You agree to the terms of your chosen AI provider. AI-generated outputs are suggestions only — they are not professional advice. You remain responsible for all product decisions made using the Service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate applicable laws; harm, threaten, or harass others; infringe intellectual property rights; attempt to circumvent security measures; use the Service to build a competing product; or process data you don't have the right to process.

9. Payment and Billing

During the 30-day trial, the Service is free. After the trial, continued access requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your workspace. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Kansov does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will be accurate.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KANSOV LABS PRIVATE LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. For dispute resolution, contact us first at support@kansov.com. Unresolved disputes may be settled through arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
